HH Day #8 - Maisy's Market

>> Thursday, November 19, 2009

Tis' the season to be jolly, la la la la love the giveaways!
Welcome to day #8 friendlies!
Today we are introducing you to a beautiful vintage shop:
Ever met someone that just makes ya laugh? Someone that's just themselves and has this confidence about it? Someone that's got a passion (like vintage treasure hunting) and just pursues it!?
Maisy is one of those people.
Okay, so we haven't met her but we blog stalk her and call her a friend!
Maisy is this witty woman with this passionate love for her family that is contagious.
She juggles her home and her abounding love for vintage goodies with a great sense of humor and a beautiful ambition.
At Maisy's Market you can find all sorts of goodies for at least ten people on your gift list :)

Lets get to know more Maisy:

1) My favorite holiday tradition has to be.....when all the kids go to bed on Christmas Eve. My husband and I scramble to get the presents under the tree and get all the stocking stuffed. We then turn off all the lights in the house, except for the Christmas tree, put on the Christmas music, open a bottle of wine and sit by the tree and give thanks for another wonderful holiday season.
2)I think it's important to support handmade because there are sooo many talented people in this world. It give them confidence in what they are doing and creating. It also gives the buyer the opportunity to buy one of a kind items. There is something about the search for the perfect gift for someone. Especially when they know you searched and searched for a gift that is so "you".
{Vintage Large Metal Flower Frog ~ $10.00}

3) I would have to say that my favorite shop item is Vintage Glass Plate with Cloche. The reason I love this is because it has soooo many possibilities. It could be used in a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom or even an office. It could display your favorite items.
{Vintage Glass Plate & Cloche ~ $12.00}

4) My shop summed up in three words would be vintage, sweet, timeless.

Maisy is Giving Away:

1- $25 gift certificate to her store!
(& this includes free shipping for the item(s) you purchase!)
